    I might have to get one done to test my eye moisture but my eyes are VERY sensitive.. they even hurt when a tiny lash falls in em.

    Does a Schirmer test hurt? I think the strips are in for like 5 mins. Helenia Etomidate nexttime

    I haven't had one myself but have seen them done. My understanding is that they can be uncomfortable for some people but aren't painful as such.

    Never seen one, I'm afraid - eyes aren't my thing. Some reading seems to suggest they can put local anaesthetic drops in first to prevent discomfort, but I don't know if that would be an option for you.
