How intoxicated do you get from wine 11% ABV?. And how intoxicated do you get from vodka with 40% ABV?

I drink 3-4 times a year so would get quite affected by both, had 3 glasses of wine last night and woke up feeling quite iffy

Obviously depends on how used to drinking you are but the wine should be ok as long as you drink it slowly and the vodka... well, if you drink it quickly that will get you pretty drunk but again. If you mix it correctly and drink it slowly you'll be fine

The average person can process around a unit per hour. This would be maybe 1/2 a glass of wine or a single shot of vodka (I think, you should check it). Although as others have said, there are individual differences... small/thin people are affected more quickly and people who don't drink very often experience more of an effect.
