    It appears that there are fewer number of international students at ex-poly universities i.e. Nottingham Trent and the like than there are at RG and top 10 universities. What might be the reasons for this? Do you think it might be because the reputation of these universities is very low, and so international students don't want to pay for something that's not very good? Perhaps these universities aren't advertised outside of the UK, which might attract fewer international students? Could it be that the parents of international students refuse to pay for their child to attend an inferior university?

    as an international student why would you want to invest over 10 grand/year to go to a low ranked university? plus international students care alot more about rankings/prestige than british students do
