I meant I'm waiting for the right person to lose my virginity to. Not gonna wait until after I get married for that....
Oh okay. The way you worded it was ambiguous because - pertaining to the thread question - it implied you were waiting until after marriage, but only because you haven't found anyone yet. It didn't compute.

    so sex isn't about love?
not in this day and age
you can love someone and have sex with them, but you dont need to be love to have sex

So having sex before marriage is supposed to nullify any love you feel somehow?

...have I read that wrong? I am confused.

Why would I get married to someone I have never had sex with?
    and I replied with

because marriage is about love not just lust sex or having a bit of fun
in which I was trying to get at the idea that if you truly loved someone you would wait with them to have sex to show how much love you have for them, because sex is a very pleasurable act that you can get easily get

    does it make sense now?

You think orgasms only exist in porn? Women do actually have orgasms.

You know women's sexuality needs had been ignored by society for ages. I'm just being sex positive and feminists. Waiting for marriage to me is a form of moral puritanism I don;t wanna be involved with where having fun is sinful.

If I love somebody... I could... maybe... do something that we find mutually enjoyable and pleasurable with them... perhaps something that brings us closer together... perhaps... sexual intercourse?

It makes more sense now I guess but it's logic is unfounded.

I don't see why or how my point is logically unfounded?

"If you truly loved somebody you would this" generally isn't the best point to be making given the nature of love as it is, but regardless your point of "sex is something you can very easily get" doesn't entail that you should then not do it except when you're married, as it proves nothing in reality except that you're very patient.

You could flip your own reasoning the other way around. If you "truly loved" somebody, and sex is a very pleasurable act that's easy to do, deliberately denying your partner any form it of before marriage could be seen as depriving them of something good, which could be interpreted as not very loving.

Not that I really believe that but your point about the nature of sex doesn't necessarily lead to your conclusion.
