    Reading is always a good tip, especially proper books. The more you read, the better your vocabulary, grammar and comprehension will become. Perhaps pick a genre that you really like and just read as much as you can- that's what I'm doing for my a level foreign languages and it genuinely is a fantastic way of building understanding, and placing vocabulary in context.
