Hi all, I've applied to Brunel University London 'Advanced multimedia studies and 3D technologies ' and University of Kent 'Digital Visual Effects Msc'

I've been accepted to Brunel but I'm still waiting for a reply from kent. I would like to know which university is better or offers more opportunities. I wish to pursue a career as a 3D artist for both games or films.

Thanks!

This is quite a specialist field so not many people may know about it on here. The courses sound different so sit down and work out what each one is about and compare them. You can also see what each uni offers in terms of the student experience. This is a very personal decision so only you can decide for yourself. Maybe see where grads have ended up by contacting the unis and asking.

Hi emzellul,

I studied this course at Brunel Uni few years ago and wanted to be a VFX Artist or a Compositor. I got good knowledge on it in the University. However, I failed to find this kind of job. Fortunately, I got Multimedia skills there as well and there is a great demand on multimedia designers now. I would recommend you to start looking a job while studying. It was an amazing course. More like a game then study However, you have to learn a lot. In addition, it is London. You will never be bored there

P.S. I applied to Kent, too
