I am in a unquie situation that I am not going to go into and keep my questions as straight foward as possible.

Lets say you enrol on a course which you hope to complete and then move onto uni, at what stage would you apply? Would you apply for uni at the start of enrolling on the first course even though you havent completed it?

Get settled in the course first, maybe a month or so. Then start looking into applying.

The next UCAS cycle starts in September with the main application deadline in January 2018.

It's standard practice to apply to universities while you are currently studying a course at school or college, with predicted grades for your course provided by your referee. So the referee will need to have enough time to be comfortable providing your reference and also the predicted grades.
