    Hi guys!

So I need some advice on how applying through UCAS Extra works. I understand how to apply and the whole process of application. What I really need to know is if/how I apply for accommodation? Can I apply for accommodation?

Help and advice would be very much appreciated!! Thank you!!

Each university has its own rules on accommodation but they are usually linked to when you firm or accept them so the fact that you apply via Extra is probably irrelevant.

    Hi,

With university accommodation it differs between unis. Here at Derby, you’re guaranteed accommodation if you put them as your first choice. Although, the longer you leave it to apply for halls, the less choice you will have over which halls you go to (although all of them are fine). Email the individual unis you are looking at and ask them how they run their accommodation. Here we have the student living team that you can ask questions about and other universities should have similar services.

    Hope this helps,

    Molly
