I have begun to consider my accommodation for university and I have noticed that the more expensive self-catered accommodation such as Haddington place and Brae house look to be of a better standard than that of Pollock. However, I am aware that Pollock Halls tends to be the most social of accommodations as it houses more students. Does Self- catered have its drawbacks as there would be fewer students or are the "high end" self- catered accommodation not that different to pollock?

I personally plan on staying in a self-catered flat such as Haddington or Brae, because I like the community feel of staying with 4-6 people.
