Hi,

I am studying an IGCSE in English literature, I am sitting this as an external candidate at my local college so I have no tuition with them. I am looking to start reading and studying the literature and I asked the college which books the exams would be on.

They asked me to get in touch with the exam board (Edexcel)

Edexcel have sent me a link to a 2012 PDF which lists the usual Shakespeare books and then the following:

Jane Austen: Pride and Prejudice
Harper Lee: To Kill a Mocking Bird
R K Narayan: The English Teacher
John Steinbeck: Of Mice and Men
Mildred Taylor: Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry

However, I have since come across this article from 2014 stating that To Kill a Mocking Bird and OF Mice and Men are no longer included and that there is now a third book I will also need to study?

Please can anyone shed some light on this as the college nor have the exam board been overly clear.

Thanks in advance
