i got my card today as well!!! my photo is, as i expected, terrible. my entire face is white except for my eyes which seem to follow you around the room!

I am glad i'm not the only one! me thinks they have a special passport photo camera to make sure you look extra horrible on all your important documents!

Just get one strip done, then if you have a scanner or colour photocopier, just copy a load of them at home :smile:

Do you think I could copy them onto normal paper, cos I'm not sure of the availability of photo paper in my household lol. Would normal paper photos be useable?

Could be a bit risky. Trust me, it's probably cheaper to go out and buy a few sheets of photo paper than it would be to keep nipping into photobooths. Photos printed onto normal paper will likely bend more easily and be of lesser quality.

btw, my uni card says it expires in 2010 but my degree lasts until 2011... is this normal or have they made a mistake???

I think they make all the degrees last 3 years by default. You can get it renewed sometime before 2010, but hopefully they should correct it for free without you having to pay the £5 for a new card.

Mine looks better and better the longer I look at it! I'm impressed with myself! I got it last week. But I've lost the other 3 in the set and I know I will never look that good in a passport photo ever again :-(

I think the only good thing about this photo is that its obvious that the edge of my hair on one side has been cut off the edge of the photo - you can see he edge of the hair on the other side! I have a case of a dark horseshoe with 2 dark blobs in the middle :p:

Got my unicard just now - and it's not too bad!! You can't really see my eyes... but otherwise it's ok! Has anyone else registered online yet? I got really overexcited looking at the myexeter bit! x

Oh my god, 3 days [near enough]. Its really coming home now. I really need to pack... But it seems so far away, but i know this time thursday Ill be going crazy trying to work out what I need etc...
