AS Politics help

I really enjoy government and politics but I have no idea how I should be revising. I make a lot of class notes but I need a way of getting it in my head effectively. The other a levels i do are sciences and maths and its my only essay based subject so I'm not sure of the best revision method. (I'm on AQA if thats of any use)
Find a lot of questions, write out essay plans for them, so for and against then write a conclusion (if that is needed for G&P)
Smaller questions, write the question on the flash card, other side is an answer, then get people to test you on them.
