Should I apply for a vac scheme or straight TC?
Hi all, I will be graduating from Durham with an LLB in a few months. I did not apply for any vac schemes last year because I was not happy with my grades, but now that they have improved, I am ready to apply.
I have previous work experience at PwC (9 week internship in corporate tax), and am due to commence an internship at St James Place wealth management this Easter. I might also be able to secure one in the summer at an investment bank/hedge fund.
I will, of course, continue to attend open days and networking events, so should I apply for a TC directly or do vac schemes first? Is my lack of legal work experience going to be a hindrance? I am especially interested in top American firms in London.
