hey i was at towles today just to pick up the key really and look round the town. there was only about 5-10 people on the list ogf people to pick up keys im guessing including you. Im going to wait till saturday should be there at 1 ish
which building number are you by the way

hmmm, so much road noise lol. Wait til you set ur pc up, u'll go nuts the nets soo slow. Even though its BB and im the only one using it lol.

Right first night at Towles Mill in Loughborough.

Lesson one. Do not go to bed with all the windows open in the house you'll catch a cold, lol. The houses have all been aired out and i was scared stiff that there was a ghost in the house or something last night as huge husts of wind were sort of shaking everything outside my (locked reinforced bedroom door).

Lesson two, Loughborough is actually right next to the north pole turn the heating on.

Jesus you have no idea what your in for mark on your first morning here. Booooooom chucka chucka, vroooooooooooooooooooooom shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm vrooooooooooooooooom rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! lmfao its like a motor way :P no need for an alarm clock.
lol. Im not sure when im comming down now tbh the union is telling every one to come down on tuesday

Have you got affliated yet? Are they even in contact with you? They've not said anything to me at all ! I think id be correct in saying that Loughborough freshers events do not start until Wednesday of next week.

Btw do you have a picture frame in your window?

Err everybody said that people walk around in shorts and flip flops...so thats what I packed. Bad idea. Im from London so although the smog chokes us, it also keeps us warm. I don't know how i'll cope if it gets worse than this tis like winter.

The chavs race up and down all night and smoke weed at the gates:P but generaly people are really nice here. I'am shocked people actually smiled and said good morning when i walked passed i was like :eek: lol.

Well seeing as it was 15c yesterday, I dunno, this is only a guess and I might be wrong, but I have a feeling it will be slightly colder in the winter. :rolleyes:

Hmm i think it might have been you that metioned shorts and flip flops...? Someone did lol. BTW look at my cooker! (do you think i could get a rebate for my deposit as i can't cook anything, and i can't wash clothes lol)

Lol its probally just me im odd or "touched in the head to coin mother". Probally just the fact that there is a bit of a wind which im not used to and the fact that the windows are all open. They weird victorian things, im not sure how to close them, and i tend to break things so i won't try.

:smile: Im quite suprised at how cheap everything is, dandy.

It wouldn't have been me who suggested shorts and flip-flops. I may have agreed that some silly people walk around like that, but it's not something that I would recommend.

You should at least be able to get them to clean the cooker for you because they should provide everything to you in a decent state. If they don't do anything, then take dated photographs and hand them to a third party so that at the end of the year, if you decide not to clean the cooker then you can show the state in which it was provided... You're not expected to make any form of "improvement" to the property, y'see.
