A-Level Predictor

Around January-May this year someone posted a link which used your GCSE grades to predict your A-Level results. I had it bookmarked but a new computer's meant that I can't find it anymore- does anyone know it? Please help, I've been searching all day!

Crap GCSE results:

English Literature: C
English Language: A
Science Double Award: BB
Maths: C
ICT: Merit
Drama: A
French: B
Geography: B
Textiles: B

=/ Most results were within 10 marks of the next grade

Gah, I can't remember for the life in me what the link is. I'm sure it'll be in a thread somewhere in A-levels.

I don't know how but I just found it- www.gradeinfo.co.uk

I think God just enjoys watching me waste time as opposed to revise The Picture of Dorian frigging Gray lol

Thanks!

Hehe, that's the one

to be honest no grade predictor will predict the outcome of ur exams in june. Only u can do this. I got 6A*s and was predicted by this calculator

Your predicted number of AS/A Level Points is 510. This is the equivalent of achieving AAAA+.

I got BBCC in AS due to lazing around and not revising. Ur gcses arent spectacular but im sure u would learn from ur revision mistakes that time around and perform much better in AS and A2

Reply 5

I got worse than you and achieved 3 B's nearly 3 A's :s-smilie:

Reply 6

I was predicted AAAA and got AAAC

Reply 7

That thing says I should get CDD but I got AAC. Prediction calculators like that are useless, as are those ALIS test things. E in French and German!? Pah!

Just work hard and do plenty of revision. You'll be fine.

I got 4A's and 5B's and my college predicted that 50% of students with my grades get D's for AS level lol.

Your predicted number of AS/A Level Points is 140. This is the equivalent of achieving EEEe.

Actually predicted AABb lol.

-----------------

"Your percentile is 77.34%. This means that you outperformed around 502700 people in these exams."

I find that quite sad... I thought GCSEs were too easy nowadays? Yet I outperformed that many people with 2 B's, 6 C's, 2 D's and a pass (4 C's) in GNVQ ICT.

a guy at my school got 3As 5Bs 2Cs which was the lowest grades at my school for gcse. He ended up with AAAB for AS which shows that u really work so much harder if u are motivated to improve

Your school must be really good if they were the lowest grades. What school is it?

Reply 12

My school was terrible for results.

AS 86 ENTRY'S = 2A's,13B's,20c's,24d's,13e's and 14U's

an A was mine a B and an E. I worked hardest on the E though because the other 2 are the only subjects with decent teachers. lol im not bitter.

We all get to have an individual discussion next week with a head of year about ALIS. Gah, return on the CATs!

That link predicts me AAAd.

I doubt anyone really gets a combination like that!

Reply 14

bah, i was predicted AAAc, i want AAAAa! lol

Reply 15

Those grade infos are completely stupid. For GCSE one of the predicters predicted me a D for science, i got AA and the CATS predictions also said that i would get E/F's at GCSE but i got 4A 4B, i could have got better if i just revised properly. Someone with serious paranoia would probaly believe those things and be put down by it. don't worry:smile:

Love the A Level result bit, makes me feel quite chuffed

From my GCSEs it predicts: BBBe. (Got ABBd).

Bit useless

Reply 17

That thing predicts me AAAC, got AABC at AS and am predicted AAA at A2, so I suppose reasonably accurate.

Reply 18

Your predicted number of AS/A Level Points is 460. This is the equivalent of achieving AAACe.

I actually got AAAB at AS, predicted AAAA at A2.

Reply 19

It predicted me AAAa and I actually got AAAaa so not far off :x
