LSE emerging markets forum (LSEEMF)

i applied for the LSEEMF a month ago and after sending in my CV, was recently told that i am invited to attend it (and pay for it too. over £100). just want to ask whether or not this is worth it. is it that prestigious to attend? will i even get contact with keynote speakers? is it a networking opportunity worth spending money for?

anybody with experience attending the event in years gone by gone by, please feel free to give your thoughts.

It was definitely worth it. Food is taken care of on both days (this was last year 2017) and people come from all over the world; Latin America, Europe, India, Asia, I've never seen something so big organised by students. If you are interested in emerging markets then I think it's definitely worth it if you have around £100 to spend
