Haha, I've been hearing about 'Ripper' for years now - even before the main series was over.
I loved Season 5... I really liked Glorificus and her minions lol! I also loved the bit with Giles and Tod (think it was Glory's host's name), when he says that Buffy isn't like 'them' and then suffocates him. Brilliant acting from ASH! Also the ending was brilliant to that Season as you already mentioned.

Glory was great, I loved how crazy she was. And I think you're referring to Ben?

But my favourite "villains" of all time have to be The Trio. They're just so geeky and incompetent, it was delightful. Oh, and Spike (before he started making puppy dog eyes at Buffy) is my second favourite.

Ben yeah.. but I didn't like the Trio.. the rape thing was very disturbing as well as the subsequent murder of the girl when she tried to escape. But I liked how I got their nerdy references..

I really liked the Mayor and the First as bad guys. Mmm, I think Dark/Evil Willow gets a vote because of her line... "Buckle up Rupert...I've turned pro"!

Buffy sometimes annoyed me. I liked Faith much better, even when she was the bad guy. I loved the way she messed with Spike when she was in Buffy's body. Saucy!

Smashlite ditched me at the library! Left me wandering around alone.

Maybe that was your plan all along.. mmm *conspiracy*

Oh and I liked that eppy where they switched bodies too... Faith is hot and I like that she is kinda untamed. Buffy at times got whiney, but I still worship the signed photo of her on my wall. :P

No lecture for me. Psy kindly added 3 hours of practical to my timetable 2 hours ago, there was no way i could do friday seminar. Had to change my wild module.

Three day weekend for 12 weeks, no monday work

My friend had a signed photo of David Boreanaz and I lusted after it. At one time, every inch of my room was covered with Angel pics. Looking back, it's almost embarassing.

Are there any Buffy episodes you don't like? For me, it's Restless. I can admire the artistry of creating such an abstract episode, but I didn't really enjoy it. However, it does have one of my all-time favourite quotes from any TV show: "I wear the cheese; the cheese does not wear me." Sometimes I just randomly say that to people for the fun of it.

Oh my god - my timetable's just been updated, and I have 3 seminars and 2 lectures tomorrow. Tuesdays are going to be a nightmare. :frown:

Mahahahaha!!! Yes I ditched you, and I'd do it again!!! Ha!
Seriously, sorry, I thought you were following me, then I turned around and you were gone.
What are you doing tomorow? I've got nothing all day.

Martell,
Haha, Restless for me too wasn't too great either! Though isn't that the one with Giles singing Behind Blue Eyes....?

Smashlite,
I was still standing at the entrance.. just waiting to ask the guy if he would let me through. I wasted my one chance to get in now! Richard left me as well and I walked up and down trying to find either you or Sylvie but to no avail.. then I walked back to Parkwood again. ;( And I have some Sci-Fi lecture at 1pm. ;o

That was the episode "Where The Wild Things Are".
Reply 192
Oh... Restless = weird Xander going Apocalypse Now or something...?

Btw, Giles singing Behind Blue Eyes is a brilliant scene eitherway!
Reply 193
I loved it too  If they finally get Ripper off the ground, as they claim they're doing, I want more singing from Anthony Head.

Sadly, I can rarely listen to Behind Blue Eyes these days without re-playing in my mind Fred Durst eating Halle Berry's face. :s-smilie: So wrong, on so many levels.

He can write the theme tune and sing the theme tune!

I wonder how the series would play out though; would it be like Monster of the Day format or lengthy story arcs? I guess Buffy had a blend of both but it was all very good, so as long as Joss and the usual writers are at the helm, then I'm hopeful it'll be great since the Buffyverse has so many fans.

In Buffy Season 8, Giles is head of the English branch of slayer operations, so it'll probably be about him training young slayers under his watch. But again, i'd love to see more of Andrew. I know that Giles took Andrew under his wing and was training him as a watcher, but Andrew has his own team of slayers somewhere in Europe, so he probably won't make much of an appearance.

Oh, is this from the comics or what?

Yeah. I'm not really a comic fan, but curiosity got the better of me and I checked it out. Anyway, I have 2 seminars and 2 lectures awaiting me, so i'll be off now.

ROFL at some girl who set off the fire alarm with her dodgy cooking!

And there goes the other fire alarm opposite us! Hahaha!
Sorry Aaron...we thought you had both gone the other way or something. I didn't think you were on your own.
Hmmm, I think the only way you are going to forgive me is it I talk about Buffy...
...Sarah Michelle Gellar is hot!
