When can I get my SHU Card?

Hi, I'm starting a course this September. I have applied for a SHU Card 20 days ago. Does any body know when I can get it?

THis have probably changed now...

But I got my SHU card on enrollment which was done in the first few days - You go in and get your photo taken.

Beware, this photo is the one you always get :P I came back from 3 months in Spain where I refused to get my hair cut by someone I couldn't speak to.... and thus on my SHU card I look like Moira hindley.

But as I say this might of changed and it could all be done before hand...

If not, then you'll get it in the first few days :smile:

I wouldn't worry about it, its not like you WONT get into uni without it.

yeah, when i started in 05 i sent them a passport photo during august, then when i enrolled in September they printed my SHU card and gave it to me :smile:

You get it during freshers week, first day. So don't worry...you will get it lol

Yeah you post it and then when you enrol they give you your card....only BEWARE they have a very common habit of losing the photo you send in and a fair few people (including myself) got stung with having to have your pic taken there and then. Needless to say i look somewhat pissed off on my shucard (the passport pic i'd sent in had been a decent one :frown:

)

I am hoping that they have lost my pic, i didnt really like the pic i sent in as i had to get it done in a rush so hopefully they will have lost it. But knowing my luck they wont have :p:

I sent my form off for my card a while ago, was told that it'd be ready for collection when we enroll.

nah but someone asked this question when i went for the pre-enrolement day (as im also doing nursing) and we were told we would get it when we enroled. so i wouldnt worry!
