im assuming youre the hijabi in question. why alienate yourself? youre a normal individual, enjoy the gym. Do your business and leave, I really don't understand the point of this thread.
How would you react to seeing a hijabi in the gym? I started going to the gym recently, I wear normal yoga pants and a shirt that's long.
There's nothing wrong with wearing that sort of clothing in the gym. I don't go to gyms because I'm lazy and like chocolate, but I'd probably just say high and carry on pretending to run on the treadmill.
No different than my reaction would be anywhere else, which would be nothing at all
Don't let it worry you, go do what you want and don't let it hinder you. Anyone who would judge you about something like that isn't worth your time anyway.

I don't know, I guess am scared to be judged by people. Since there are not many hijabis that go to the gym. But, it's good to know you guys don't care one bit.
Seriously? Why not go to an all girls gym or sessions for women only, so you don't need to wear hijab or worry about tight clothing?
Women's gym don't have all the equipment or the classes needed. I don't have a problem with going to a gym that's got mixed genders, I just wanted to know what people's reaction would be to seeing a hijabi in the gym because there are not a lot of hijabis that go to the gym.

Maybe ask some friends if they want to go with you. It might make you feel better if you could go as part of a group.

And that is exactly what I need to say myself. Thankss

Actually, haha I do go with your friends. The problem is, there's a ton of people there and since am the only one that looks different, I feel like I stand out. My friends are not Muslim.
If your asking about my statement you have no clue about the Guardian and the Womens march. They argued that the Hijab somehow empowers women. They consider it to be "Liberating".
