I don't quite understand how to answer (a) and (e)
I have estimated that median=26.71, mean=29.58 and standard deviation=16.58 and hence found the coefficient of skewness=0.519
I know that the closer the coefficient of skewness to zero, the more symmetrical the distribution. Yet in this case mean > median therefore the skew is positive
Does the "shape" of the distribution refer to the skewness? How can I know the shape of the distribution in part (a) when I have not yet found the median, mean, etc?
Hopefully my questions make sense
