What is the weekly reflection?
Reflection is an important aspect of Nursing and Midwifery. It helps professionals to consider their own thoughts, feelings and actions. Reflection with other professionals creates a safe space to discuss their experiences and share learning.

As part of improvements to the Nursing and Midwifery section, we will be hosting a weekly reflection. This might include teaching, resources or discussion of recent news, or some combination of these. Participants are then encouraged to share their thoughts and feelings about this, and to relate these to their own practice.

What's in it for me?
The aim of this is to further support our community by providing material for reflection, portfolio entries and also increasing awareness of legislation, resources and CPD.

Participating is excellent interview preparation for applicants, and also useful for portfolios for student nurses. Participating is also useful preparation for revalidation and may be useful in completing your reflective accounts section.

Anyone is welcome to take part, whether you are a registered nurse, nursing student or simply considering a healthcare qualification.
