Please could someone give me some advice on student bank accounts? Are you supposed to create one when applying for student finance for your first year or when you're at university? I don't currently have a confirmed place at uni for the first year of my course because I haven't yet taken my exams, but I'm applying for student finance. Should I use the bank account that I currently have? Thanks in advance.

You can input the bank details you have at the moment and if you open a student account before you go to uni you can update the details on your online account.
