Hi,

I'm currently on a level 3 apprenticeship in Marketing and due to finish by September. and recently decided i would like to give uni a shot, however as a full-time student. Having been to college for 1 year studying BTEC Marketing level 3, and achieving an M & P on the exams, and with my NVQ l3 qualification in Marketing, i was wondering would Hallam consider my application as a direct entry?

The course I'd be interested would be either marketing/business/finance (or something related to those 3).

If not, would i be able to go through the 'foundation year' route, and then onto the full degree after then?

Hi Dann,

I've spoken to our admissions team for you about this and they've asked me to pass on this advice:

'To be considered for of our marketing/business/finance based courses you would need some additional study to meet our entry requirements. You may want to consider continued study on your BTEC to the Extended Diploma level with an overall MMM.

Unfortunately, we don't offer a relevant foundation year at Hallam. However, we would consider a relevant foundation year subject studied through another university or local college as long as you achieve a minimum 60% overall grade and meet the entry requirements for the course areas you are interested at Hallam.'

If you have anymore questions about entry requirements please contact the Admissions Enquiries & Advice Team on 0114 225 5533 or email [email protected]

Hopefully that answers your questions

Thanks

Hannah
