Oxford Engineering or Computer Science for tech startups?

Could an alumnus advise on Oxford Engineering vs Computer science for those interested to get into the tech startup scene.
What are you most interested in? Which area of Engineering would you specialise in? Do you have ideas for a start-up, or do you just want to work for them? Not every start-up gives good share benefits, especially if several rounds of funding are required.

Computing is a safer bet for Tech startups, but it also depends on which area you specialise in. I'd concentrate on what you enjoy, as you'll be both better at it and (potentially) won't mind working long hours. You could always do Engineering followed by a MSc in CS.

I read Engineering and Computing Science, but they don't do that course now. TBH, I don't really use much of my degree - it's more about how you think IMO. You can also get into computing without a CS degree, if you have relevant experience and projects.
