Can anybody offer some advice on how to get better at physics?
I know to do past questions however sometimes I don't know the theory or other times the theory is there but the questions are difficult.
Currently YR 13 doing the new spec physics.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks

Read the spec! Print off the spec and tick off what you know and then revise the things you haven't ticked off. All my AS notes are pretty much on the AS spec. With AQA, your teacher should have access to Exampro - where there are loads of resources and there are also a lot in the textbook. Make use of your teachers and ask them for help when you need it! Also try new forms of revision, for example with Thermal Physics I found that making flashcards helped me with my revision, however with Fields, I made A4 sheets with important info - don't be afraid to make new and different resources for each chapter. Finally, I use whiteboards a lot. E.g. for the kinetic theory, I use a whiteboard to continuously write out the derivation, which you can also do for other topics.

Here are a few good websites:

http://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/
http://www.physbot.co.uk/
And here is the link for the demo Exampro:

Hope this helps and good luck with revision
