Thanks a lot for these links.
Does anyone have a basic check-list style document of this new AQA Economics specification?
I need it so I can see the whole syllabus one one/a few pages, pick things to revise and then tick them off...

Asking or relying on predicted questions wouldn't really help. You should go over the specification and concentrate on topics you are not comfortable with instead.

I did context B messed up 2 4 markers because

In the bar chart one apparently you were meant to have spaces inbetween the bars
Also the calculation i got 9.3 when it was like 10.2.
but did all working
do you think thats a lot of marks to drop?
Pritty sure got 100% in everything else.

Basically i got 9.3 aswell but at the end of the test i went over everything and realised it couldnt of been 9.3 because 10% of the number was less than the original number so it had to be greater than 10% and then i check with all the smartest kids in my school and they all said 10. something

Context B:

-9.3 %

Percentage of gambling increased:

- Successful advertising, demand increases
- Higher prizes - more demand as inelastic and people have a higher chance of winning money
- Real income - falling, so people take risks to earn the money back and market failure.

25 marker *****:

- Govt intervention, regulation - quotas on the amount of sales - unintended consequences e.g. regulation may lead to less output (due to restrictions) so labour is derived demand so labour is layed off and structural unemployment occurs and decline in economy's income.
- Taxes, negative externalities - crime rates increasing - also alcohol complementary good E.V. Magnitude, socially optimum level, regressive effect
- Bridging the information gap - information failure.

I ****ed the paper up lads. I so badly flopped the 25 marker and possibly the 10 marker too. Absolutely no application.
