Warwick Modern Languages Applicants/Offer Holders 2017

Hi! I've noticed there's a distinct lack of threads for Warwick Modern Languages applicants/offer holders so I thought I'd make one 😊

A few icebreaker questions:

What course/language(s) do you want to study?
Which universities have you applied to?
Which universities are you planning to put as your firm/insurance?
A level subjects/predictions:

As for me:

What course/language(s) do you want to study? BA Modern Languages (French, ab initio Spanish and Chinese)
Which universities have you applied to? Warwick (AAB), Oxford (French and Beginner's Italian - rejected), Leeds (French and Russian - ABB with A in EPQ), York (French and Italian - unconditional if firm) and UCL (French and Russian - AAB)
Which universities are you planning to put as your firm/insurance? I've already firmed Warwick; Leeds is my insurance!
A level subjects: French (A*), Fine art (A*), English lit (A), Chinese Pre-U (D3), EPQ (A*)
GCSE grades: 8A*s 2As
hey there. also an applicant to do lang at Warwick. not sure about whether to put it as my firm yet or Nottingham. Do you know what the non-core Language modules are for French? The site is pretty unhelpful for this :frown:
