in a casual, non-discriminatory and un-hateful context?

Words such as: ******, honky, chink, ******, paki etc.

What I mean by context is, for example, the reaction I get from casually calling my friend a ****ing idiot will be very different from saying it to someone I want to start a fight with.

EDIT: The first censored word is the one for black people and the second censored word is for homosexuals.

To your friends who are okay with it yes.

To random people, no. Me and my friends use racial slurs to each other all the time lol

I wouldn't say something like "yeah that paki fellow" but I wouldn't mind if someone else did.

I think that's when the same slur can be used against yourself.

Do you think I can say the N word as a non-black - as a joke?

I won't tolerate it if a non black friend uses the n word around me as a 'joke' because I don't find such 'jokes' funny and neither do many black people.
There are some black people that don't care but majority do care no matter where they're standing on the political compass (i.e. Sjw or right wing or centrist etc)

Hmmm by "joke" I mean using it in a context completely separate from the connotations of the word.

I respect and can totally understand that though. :yep:

People should have the right to be bigots - it's not our position to police their language if they want to be so stupid.

Anyone can say what they like it's the intent behind words which make them bad.
