How many hours of sleep do you normally get?

I go to college and I usually get 8 hours of sleep. I sleep at 10pm and wake up at 6. I was wondering if there was a huge difference in 7 hours of sleep? I was thinking of sleeping at 11 and waking up at 6, just to give me more time to relax once I get home and finished studying.

Is there really a huge difference between 7 and 8 hours of sleep?

A neurologist once told me that the average person needs 8-10hrs, but then again, there are many people who are perfectly fine with 7, and other people for whom 10 isn't quite enough. You have to try and find out what fits you best

Hi, I'm a Year 11 student and I'm getting 5-6 hours of sleep daily. I can assure you that there is nothing wrong with getting 7h, I'm doing just fine...

I don't sleep a whole lot. I normally do 4 hours at night and a half hour nap when I get home from work.

I sleep far too much but not because i want to be lazy. I only feel refreshed after 10 hours in bed. Last year I didn't sleep much and it really affected my mental wellbeing

Between 10 and 12 usually. I take medication that makes me extremely tired. When I was at school I'd get around 4 or 5 hours.
