I've heard that I can take my IGCSE's in October/November as well , but most of my teachers told me that it's not possible because it's only for resitting . Is that true or it varies from couuntry to country ?

In my country, it's only for resitting. What some of my classmates do is that they pay for the May/June exam but they never sit it, then they resit Oct/Nov so they'd have more time to study (which they pay for). I think it's a huge waste of money though.

You can take some CIE IGCSEs in oct/Nov. But, as far as I know it's only the CIE IGCSEs you can sit as a first sitting
