    Anybody use this?

My mate's downloaded a couple of tracks which she can't seem to transfer to her iPod and isn't sure why. She's given them to me on disk to see if I have any more luck and they're M4P files, which won't open with RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. Anyone know anything about this file type, or using iTunes with an iPod in general?

I know this should probably be in the computing forum, but it's not specifically technical and I thought I'd get a wider range of responses here

    Thanks!

not sure if this file type is a mainstream file type, and if its not playing on windows media player, real player, quicktime or itunes, then its probably more likely one of the rarer tracks, and you are probably better off trying to re download in a mor popular format (mp3), which is much more easier unless you are paying for these songs and they still dont work.
