what can blu tack hold up?

want to buy a large glass photo frame to put pics-is blu tacks strong enough for that , seein as we cant put pins in the wall

I really doubt it ... Blu-tack's really not much good for anything heavier than a poster. Although, according to the builders who finished off my halls, blu-tack combined with gaffer tape will hold the kitchen cupboards up ...

Can't you prop this large glass effort up against the wall by your desk or something?
I've got a 6 photo frame with a large army type thing at the back (that's probably got a proper name, damn if I know it though) which I'm quite pleased I found.

the walls of Derby Hall were painted in glossy paint.. so even the lightest of posters just dropped off after a few weeks.
