Study help works best if you have a go at the question first and post your attempt so we have something to work with - people are usually happier to help you once you’ve made an effort at answering it yourself. It's not really designed for you to post up photographs of your homework without even asking nicely for help - it's a bit rude.

Can i know how is the answer C? I get the idea of the reactions but i don't understand about the charges of ions. I'm weak in organic chemistry sorry ):

Sodium hydroxide reacts with a carboxylic acid group making a carboxylate ion:

-COOH -> -COO-

Sodium reacts with a carboxylic acid group AND hydroxyl groups making a carboxylate ion and an ethoxide ion:

-COOH -> -COO-

-OH --> -O-
