Just wondering if anyone could kindly give some advice/insight. I've just received offers from both Central Saint Martins and Chelsea to study Fine Art and I am in such a dilemma in which to opt for. I am so grateful and on top of the world to be in this position but naturally, its a hard choice to make. If anyone is able to give their own experiences/ opinions- that would be great!

Thank you!

I've got an offer to study Fine Art at Chelsea, but I didn't apply to CSM so I'm probably not the best person to give advice. From what I've heard, CSM is very fashion fashion fashion, and is bigger and maybe a little less friendly. I fell in love with the buildings at Chelsea and also it's cool because you don't have to specialise into a pathway, so you can do painting for a year then sculpture etc. Whereas at CSM you have to specialise into 2D 3D etc. You probably knew all of this anyway but just thought I'd chip in

Thank you very much for your response, it's much appreciated! Well done on your offer at Chelsea! I felt, when I went to Chelsea, the vibe is really relaxed and as you said, the buildings are really lovely. The free/open access to Tate Britain, is very inviting too!
It's a very hard decision to make, both places have their pros and cons, I suppose; CSM- I've had my heart set on for years but I can see many good things in Chelsea, since visiting. Best of luck on your course there!

From what I know, CSM is kind of the best college at UAL-not necessarily the best, but its seen really highly. It's kind of a brand if you will (Alexander McQueen graduated CSM so..). Also, the vibe I get from CSM is that there will be an attitude among students that says "I am the greatest" (and not really in a good way), whereas Chelsea seems friendlier.
