Hi, I am re-sitting the WJEC exam for biology (BY5). There are lots of stuff in the book which isn't listed on the specification or the 'you need to know' column in the book. My question is, do we need to know this stuff? I don't want to sit and learn it if I will never be tested on it but then I don't want to leave it out if there is a possibility - there is so much stuff in the book which isn't listed in the specification...

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Example: Genetic counselling in topic 'Applications of Reproduction and Genetics' is in the book but isn't listed in the spec - do I need to know this?

Heya! In resitting too!! Not sure actually, maybe just learn basic principles of them? Where are you at with your revision? I've got about 3 units to go. 😊
