Reblet - i wish i could be "boring" and just have stayed in the same place... this is my sixth school... trust me, its not fun (as i'm sure de.novo will agree!)

De.novo - i called mum and basically made her fill it out over the phone :biggrin:

I didn't know you had applied for St Mary's! I think i'm switching to that college, well i e-mailed the admissions office there and they said they had room for English students (as in the Q300 course not + philosophy) so i just need to decide and confirm.

Oh and if it's any help at all my friend got rejected for Eng lit + Philosophy about a week or two ago so they have been making decisions and they're obviously still considering you! :smile:

That informative post has made me happy! at least St Mary's isn't full to the brim, and at least i haven't been rejected straight out. All the other applicants from my course ( all 3 i found on tsr anyway) didn't get in and they found out about a week or two ago as well. . . maybe they do it in batches. So what college are you transferring from... I loved the sound of Mary's, it seemed really relaxed and ethical haha... It also has a pretty view!

NO NEWS, my dad thinks that my application fell down the side of a desk or something, i was all 'no, no, no, loads of tsr folk are still waiting too, geez!'

Lol, they'll probably tell my that my predicted grades were not on my form (I hope so, so I can send them and maybe they'll reconsider me !) or (and I don't want it) they'll tell me my level in Russian wasn't good enough. Even if I messed an interview, I my exam is still an oral presentation, so they could have just required me to achieve high grades and there we go, but no ...

I know you're trying to wind us up, but ever been to Durham?

It's just one of those typical old english towns with, er y'know, a world heritage site, 600+ listed buildings. And stuff. Not much really. I mean, c'mon, it's not quite Ireland with it's whopping two world heritage sites! I mean, that's a real place! 4,000,000+ people and two such sites compared to Durham's population of fewer than 50,000 with only one such site. How crap is Durham, eh?!
