Hello! You might just be stuck with me now though :frown:

And yes that is harsh

That's ok. I'm fine with that. I wonder if Amy got off at the right stop or if she's still on the train wandering about somewhere in Switzerland.

I suspect that they could be happening at two places at once :p:

Why? I promise not to poison your drinks. I can't assure you about the nekked cancan girls though.

The one held in Rampton will be the most happening one, and you know it.

But I wouldn't appreciate being locked up in a high security psychiatric hospital. Think of the commute to Durham. :s:

Riots tend to be exciting but painful.

It would be more like distance learning, until you got out.

Or she might be lost on a train forever! For strange reason I keep thinking "Murder on the Orient Express". And I'm doing well. HMK doesn't think so though. He wants to commit me to the loony bin.

#grumble# At least I'll have Reblet, nicola1807, mhsc, Taemon, swiss_fairy, Hedda.Gabler, LieDown, KiwiBaby and more! Free all those at Rampton and on to Durham I say.

Don't be too sure about that. I'll lead them to you. Well off to bed then. :goodnight

How do you know that you have led them to the right person?

I know how you look. Unless you have a twin or a doppelganger. And you won't see me coming since you don't know how I look. Not just yet. Any longer and I might sleep on my keyboard. :p:

I've just been catching up on what happened last night! Hilarious 'exhausted-but-cant-be-bothered-to-go-to-sleep' convos are so funny to read!!

Did you get back Ok last night Amy? Hope everyone hears about their applications on Monday! 7th April is ridiculous! When did you guys send your applications in? It must be months and months now they've taken to decide! Tut tut

Ooh... it snowed overnight, and when I woke up, everything was all lovely and white!
It's quite odd, seeing as how yesterday I was sure that summer had arrived...

And yeah, 7th April is ridiculous! I sent mine in on October 12th, which means that they've had my application for 5 months and 25 days! Compare that to the timescale that's found on the 8th page of this document here, and it's all a bit of a joke!

Thats ridiculous!

Yeah it snowed here too! Except its pretty much all melted now, although by the looks of the sky itll come again soon. Last time it snowed it was so bad we had no electricity, were snowed in and two of our little chicks died of cold, so I hope its not going to be that bad again! Its April!! I thought summer was coming too, it was so nice in the middle of the week!

Look at us, discussing the weather. How British. And normal.....
I had no snow this year :frown:
But I had a double rainbow some days ago, so beautiful :

The chicks died? :frown: Then, I hope there is no snow anymore. I was sure that summer was here as well. How do you guys manage in winter? It would be freezing then, and the poor animals would all be cold.

Random continuous weather is usually not a good sign. Snowed here too. Global warming I tell you. We're all doomed.

Yeah some little chickys died! Wasnt very nice, made me cry :frown: . Their heater lamp went out and we werent home, and by the time we got back one had wandered away from the group and died of cold and another had been smothered by the others trying to huddle up and keep warm. So we had them in a box by the fire in the living room all night! Surprised we didnt loose more though, they were only a week or so old!! :frown:

I HATED it when the electricity went out. It was freezing and we had to make cups of tea on the fire which made them all smokey bleugh. Wasnt as bad as our old house though; there, if the elec went off we had no water either!

All the animals are usually fine in winter apart from the chickens. They usually suffer the most, but the pigs just bury themselves in the straw up to their noses and go to sleep, theyre fine, and the cows have lots of body heat.
Runts of litters are really hard to keep during winter, theyre sometimes a bit stupid and cant look after themselves. We've had a pig in the conservatory once during winter all wrapped up in blankets because he was too tiny to be outside in the snow! and his brothers and sisters kept stepping on him.

Sorry, tales from the farm again. Its just basically thats all that happens at home during the winter; animal stuff. So when it snows you know you're going to be doing something interesting to do with them! Although despite that I love the snow!! Ive just been out in it before it melts and it was awesome!

Im confused though, I really didnt know that it snowed in April! I thought it was meant to be April Showers, i.e. rain!

Does it snow much in Durham? Or more importantly - does any snow actually stay put?

I really want a white Christmas this year
