Im looking forward to October! So excited about uni! When is freshers week at Durham?
Was back at school today bleaugh annoying! Sat and cowered my way through French again! I have no confidence whatsoever :rolleyes:

Dont worry, i used to be like that in German class cos the teacher was a scary scottish woman who on my first day stood in front of me (only came up to my belly button) and snarled "you WILL learn German Amy". I cried in my first five lesson.

Now we have a different teacher who cant keep control of us and i'm normally crying with laughter (today it was cos my friend entered the class through the window - and the teacher didnt even comment on it).

Hahaha yeh ok, that might be for the best. You can be the rug that lies next to the carpet.

Are you sure you'd be happy with a blade of grass? You'd get really excited about the envelope with the Durham emblem on it.. And then :frown: just a blade of grass.

You may as well do it. At best you'll get the answer you were goign to get at some point anyway, at worst you'll have to carry on waiting, but at least your Dad will be off your back :smile:

A blade of grass, would be terribly disappointing. Not to mention, the grass stains you'd get on your carpeted self.

I'd call. They keep lying about when they inform everyone by. LIARS! It would be best not to label them as such though.

My friend phoned yesterday and was told that they'd sent him a fee status application form and he hadnt returned it my the deadline (since he hadnt actually received it!!!) so they sent him a new one.

I think you should def call just to make sure theres nothing hindering your application like in the case of my friend - just go for it!

And maybe i wouldnt be quite as happy with a blade of grass as i would be with an offer - but it would be a start!

OH MY GOD I WANT TO STRANGLE SOMETHING! this is torture, i have a strong feeling a rejection is coming my way... they are obviously weighing me up against other candidates, i just hope they need to fill the state school quota and look at how shockingly bad my school is these days......... i can't stop my useless speculation

Also the lady said they are waiting on some forms from candidates or something so maybe that means international students fee status thingies like you did amy? if so you will probably hear within the next week too ( ahem yes we have been saying that every week for the last 2 months)
