people will! I declined Durham last year, being an idiot and all, only to realise my mistake and apply all over again I think it would be unneccesarily harsh to do that though. they're supposed to make rough guesses at how many will decline and offer more places than they have surely?
How come you declined? BTW, are you concious about entering into a year that is largely a year below you? I hope not, I did and I'm loving it!!!

went to LSE, didn't like. I don't think I'm too bothered about being a year older, glad to hear it was ok for you when I was 15 I moved back into my original year (I had been ahead) and *hated* it cause everyone seemed so young and immature! I think it's gonna be very different when people are already 18/19/20 though so I'm not worried.

That's good! How come you managed to get moved ahead? When I moved to the UK I was ahead of my year but I was told i had to be in my age limit

eh, I'm not sure, I was 3 at the time I think it depends on the school sometimes. still not sure if I think it's a good thing. I did have a ridiculous reading age and I'd have been bored stiff in my year, but wow did I suck at sport! and when I got to secondary school everyone was going out more & more while I wasn't allowed
Im kinda glad Durham term starts in October, because if the uni I went to started in September I would have only been 18 for about a forntnight! I hate being so young at this time of year, what with prom and then with summer coming up; Im going to Brighton and want to be able to go out!!
I hate not being 18!!!
p.s. cant wait for TSR meet ups either Arrgh I need to stop assuming Im going to get in and start revising!! 6 weeks til my first exam!

Yeah, I'm nicht so gut at sport and was less sociable, but in truth it didn't matter a squat, I'm here now, at one of the best uni's in the country for my course! It's a shame that the 1990's education system shafted us but make the best of it ow is what I say!!!

My birthday was a few days after exams ended last year, so all my friends went go out for a drink to celebrate and I couldn't. So frustrating.
Shut up! haha. Two things depress me about being SO OLD: 1) My mum was married by my age 2) I've got a little over ten years until I turn thirty... THIRTY... 2/3rd of the way there...
