i'm here, what's up?
crappy day, just wanted reminding that some people in the world do at least acknowledge that i exist.
:frown:
well everyone here knows you exist that's for sure...I think most of the TSR prospective durham students are crossing their fingers for you to get in!
why, was someone irl being a jerk? do you need to talk about carpets and ducks to cheer yourself up? :p:

Know how you feel. I was in quite a bit of pain today, that combined with doing ridiculously badly on a French paper then understanding nothign in history wasn't too fantastic!

You exist! You definitely do to us, we couldn't get by without you on here!
I'm crossing my fingers to get in too but the way my luck goes i wont.

My bf has been away for three days and in that time literally NONE of my "friends" have bothered to talk to me. Then he didnt come round this evening because his dad doesnt like me. Then my mum came in and she's had one of her "bad" days and because i didnt drop everything to look after her (my exams are in three weeks and four days and i'm going to fail history for sure at this rate - i dont have time to look after her at the moment, i just want to get the grades and get as far away from here as possible) she had a huge go at me and although i know most of what she said isnt true, its just her psychosis and insecurities, its just really got to me that she thinks she can say that stuff to me.

Sorry. Rant over.
:hugs: I hope you're feeling a bit better by now!

I just got back from Waaaaaales  (hmm typing it like that doesn't show i say it in a Welsh accent does it ) The play was really good  although the Duke was *totally* wrong, it was a really old man (not that i have anything against old men, but it was just weird) Ah i did quite like one of the actors though  He wasn't even my type he was just wearing some kind of military uniform

Edit: not that i have some weird thing for men in uniform :ninja:
Anatheme
I think I'll write an e-mail this evening to thank her for doing this, lol. Do you think I should add a scan of my enrollment ? So they would be sure I'm taking it.

Do it.

Spent the day in London yesterday, so I had no access to a computer; a missed an entire day of obsessive checking of aes!

But I've just checked it... and there's nothing.

I really hope you're feeling better now; it's no fun at all feeling down. I'm sure your mum understands that you have important things to do in your life right now, and that just because you can devote absolutely all your time to her, it doesn't mean you don't care for her.

Don't worry too much about the exams; I'm sure you'll do brilliantly. It seems to me that, the more someone worries, the less time they spend actually revising in a useful way, and the worse they do come exam day. When you think about it, 3 weeks is ages. If you plan well, and keep everything organised, you'll have plenty of time to revise, and you'll be fabulously well prepared by the time the exam comes.

Oh, and there's no need to say sorry. Everyone needs a good rant every now and again.

I do apologise, however, if it wasn't my place to say some of these things.

Why isn't it your place? It seemed like a very nice thing to say in my opinion.

And don't bother with that AES track. I never used it. It is completely unreliable especially during the last stretch. Good luck though.

Hope you're feeling better now! When a bad day comes everything just seems to dump on you at once! *big hug*

The exams will be fine! When people say that to me I want to growl at them but when you think about it is true. With revising and concentration the exams should go Ok, thats what they are there for. Although I say that and then start to shake all over when i think of my French speakign test   help!!
