Natural Sciences (Masters in Maths&Phys)

AAA (in Maths,Physics and either chemistry or further maths)

has anyone received a modern languages and history offer!!!!!!!!!! I'm getting really impatient with all this history offers and rejections!
does the fact that mine's a joint honours mean that it has to go to both departments???????????????
OH GOD! i'm getting so frustrated! got 4 other offers so why can't durham just make their minds up and put an end to all my worry and misery!!!!!!!!!!!! gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I am no longer checking AES
it's stressful enough with track!

red wine has proved a good distraction far; get back to me in a month and i'll let you know if it is a possible long-term fix.

Aaahh! So many NatSci offers, (well only about 3 or 4), but I want an offer!! Getting more and more worried!
AES is now my mortal enemy! It refuses to tell me my application has been sent to a college! :s-smilie:

I feel the same chester - well, for PPE rather than NatSci (though I haven't seen many applicants for my course get their offers yet). The waiting is surely torture - especially when you've already got your A levels so have all the pieces of the pie to judge whether you think you'd get in.. Like, why would it take so long to deliberate when we've surely shown our potential already?! I checked AES yesterday (don't typically look at it) and nope, not been passed to college. Annoying because makes one think that when they do get around to looking at it there's a greater chance the college quota will be filled!

Exactly! I already have the grades required for NatSci! I nearly want to email them or ring them and say that Durham WILL be my firm if they give me an offer!
I dont like knowing that some people are gonna get NatSci offers but they're gonna reject them for oxbridge etc..! :frown:

I only want to go to 2 unis out of my 5 and only Durham is my absolute first choice! If i don't get Durham then i'll probably just take up my deferred offer for TCD. Still a great uni, but it's not quite Durham... *sigh*
But then again, offers may be heading our way very soon! Who know?! It just doesn't help that i'm a worrier! And especially when one (i.e me) is working for the civil service and sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours, there's bugger all else to do but to constantly check Track and AES etc! :biggrin:

all ive got on aes is that it has been received by the department - has everyone whos waiting for it to be sent to college got something different for the department? because im pretty sure if you have an offer from the dpartment they will find a college to take you - its a little different to oxbridge

i sooooooooo badly want an offer - i visited university college for a week a couple of years ago and ever since have always thought durham whenever thinking about univesity, which is great as i love the ancient history course there most of all....so you see im just building myself up for a very possible fall :|

good luck to everyone though, especially us castlers - someone has to get those blessed places! floreat castellum!
