Actually I think it might be the English offers for international students that are arriving now. Something similar seemed to happen last year (not that I've been through the 2007 thread or anything :rolleyes:

) where international offers were made a whole month before... :frown:

Well.. Natural Sciences to be precise, the subject combo of maths and psychology.

Chose them because maths is fantastic as is psychology and the two complement each other a lot.

Not too convinced of them complementing each other a load. Most of the "maths" used in psychology is statistical based, where as most of the maths you will do is pure, like geometry, calculus and analysis.

You're in India, it'll take a while. I applied on about the 12th of October last year, and received an AES track letter at the beginning of November. Patience, my friend. I know it's difficult, but if you are accepted or rejected it'll show up on UCAS track/=.

Best is, 2 hours later the mail comes in, and guess what a letter from Durham :smile:

As a rejected Oxford applicant last year, I had to wait till the end of March to complete my perfect UCAS application and recieve my Durham rejection as well so be prepared for the long wait. :P And you may want to get a haircut.

Yep I have. They want me to go for an interview/stay overnight. It took about 2 weeks before I heard anything from them, and I got the invite and stuffs in an email. Don't know if it'll be the same for you though, I'm going for Physics :cool:

same with me.
well, i don't know how long my application as been with them because i only discovered aes at the weekend, but its been saying it has been sent to a college since then. Although thinking about it i don't even know if it has actually been sent to chads, but i assume so.
I figured that seing as chads is quite popular but small they were waiting to see what other applications they receive, to see if there's someone they prefer to me!! although i may have totally misunderstood how they handle applications...
oh well, more time to practice my non-existant patience!

I applied last year and only a handful of offers were made this side of New Year, they are one of the "fairer" unis that waitys until the jan 31st deadline to receive everyones applications!!
