my application has been sitting with st john's for too long =(

Its not even xmas, give them half a chance. I would only start to complain when it gets to march tbh.

no it's been accepted by the department - it's been with the college for a while now and i didn't think that would take all that long? surely they either have a place or not? =s
plus i'm scared that durham aes is telling me lies as it has done to others by the sounds of things!
i wasn't complaining - i'm just nervous!

anyone going to the open day next feb? i have to drive 3 hours up to get there O.O

Its interesting how no one at all from Aidan's has complained about the college on here at all, where as Butler have 2 people complaining about it. Although I admit our kitchens blow, electric cookers and no ovens mean cooking isn't much fun.

And as this is my second round of Durham applications, I must warn most of us will get our results in March either way. Just keep going and let up your pent up frustration in regular bursts of ranting about how rubbish UCAS is.

At last I have truly seen the light. ALL HAIL MIGHTY AIDAN'S, MASTER OF ALL OTHER COLLEGES!! It is truly better than Butler, which is a wretched hive of scum and villainy, and may St. Aidan himself smite me for saying otherwise!

FFS. Two people complaining does not a rubbish college make. I'm sure Aidan's is very nice but so are we. If you are an absolute kitchenophobe, then do not apply to Butler. If you are not afraid to learn how to take care of yourself, then do apply, because chances are you will have a great time like 98% of students at the college.

And, like Aula said, we're good for cakes. My flat made eight cakes this term.

I am applying to do English and Philosophy too! but at St Marys. i haven't heard anything yet but i reeeeealy want to get in.. good luck and post if you get an offer so i can wind myself up even more!x
