I got an offer from St Aidan's and I wonder if there location is a little back country, can anyone help?
Aidan's is really close to just about all the other hill colleges, so you aren't that far out. By foot it's probably 10 minutes to the science site and library, 20 to town.

Does Durham have a rank of the colleges ? I know that Oxford have the Norrington table and i've googled it but it hasn't come up with anything. Alot of people seem to favour University College though i was wondering if there was an official ranking?

If you're talking about academic ranking, there isn't one, as Durham colleges take no role in teaching. There are rankings according to popularity amongst applicants, but I don't know if they're public (I've never actually seen them myself, only heard about them in meetings).
Trevelyan says on their website that they had the best results in the uni...
But as the colleges are more like 'nice halls with friends and sport teams' than the Oxbridge ones and the application process is totally different college really doesn't matter too much I wouldn't think
But I would think that Castle would be more competitive because it's the castle
