Oh....I've got St hilde and bede and then 'other colleges' on my personal links. dont think it means anything for me though, my application hasnt been sent to a college.
If you applied to a college, then that college is under your personal links. If you open applicationed it and a college appears, then your application is at that college. Good luck
Graded? what is this? do they grade your application when they recieve it and then eventually pick the top section or something? bloody hell they like to draw it out!
I imagine they must do. But don't worry, 'grading' is just the name of the process that goes on, and it happens at all of the good unis.
Basically it's the admissions office criteria... they rate your ps, your GCSE's, predicted A2 grades and AS grades, UCAS reference. Numbers or something are allocated. Best numbers get places, although they have the right to accept anyone provided there is reason for it, say they have potential as they went to a poor school but got average results and seems smart.
Hey! Reblet, just wondering (though I'm sure you will have answered this question somewhere but an impending Maths exams means I don't have the time to search for it!) how come you've had to re-apply! And uber-gratz on the Durham offer! I'm jealous! I hope I get one from Durham!

Ah Ok thank you! Honestly applying to Durham is way too complicated!! Particularly when you're really really anxious to hear from them!

I re-applied because I was a few marks off my A in History last year, so I have to re-take a module to get my three As. Fun fun! haha. I'm sure you'll be fine, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Good luck with your maths.
Have been reading ths thread and checking track obsessively for about two months!
I've applied to University College for Combined Social Sciences.
Apparently my department doesn't start looking at the applications until the 15th, and then it's March before we usually find out! The wait is killing me!
I was just wondering (although I'm sure lots of people have already asked) if people have received offers, how long did it take? Durham is the only reply I'm waiting for, and it's the only one I really want!
It's so stressful! I applied at the beginning of November. My app is still with the department too. I'm getting worried though, the only two of my friends who heard from Durham have been rejected.
So why worried? It seems that the conditions you've just describe indicate that no news is good news..!
They both applied for Oxbridge though, so their applications went through earlier. One of them was going for the exact same course as me too! But she was applying for this year, and I'm going for deferred.
