Hey does anyone know when the English open day is?

the 18th or the 19th?


The English department does open days on both the 18th and 19th, one assumes because it is a large department.

Actually I would have gone for Josephine Butler. But I can't be bothered to cook and feed myself. I'll worry about that in my 2nd year.
That's the biggest disadvantage! I will wish for some luck when it comes to flat mates.
The cooking for myself doesnt really bother me cos i cook at home for the family every night so not a bad cook. Just think its a bit pricey

My application has been sent to a college! Haha. Finally. I know that's not an offer or anything, but how long does it usually take before they make their decision?

know a guy who got A*A*A*A*A*A*A*AAA and AAAA at A-level, just got rejected for law. rough or what?

Took mine a week or two, and I hadnt even applied the college I got into (applied for HildBede, got into Grey!) but I hear it can take anything from the next day to ages! Hope it comes soonfor you though, I know how frustrating that wait is!

But how did he do on the Lnat? I believe they place a lot of importance on that. It does seem quite unfair though.

May only have space for certain subjects. Im hoping they still got space for physics students. God its been a long wait thought. Got rest of my offers start of november.
