I was kind of hoping there would be a snooker table that was available for regular usage (from looking at the site, it is only available for specific bar opening hours 7pm-11pm) that I could just go and play on to fill up some free time and generally speaking just for random enjoyment (quite often by myself :ninja:

)

I'll have a look at the Hill colleges and see if anything sticks out to me in particular. One thing that seemed obscure to me about Trevs is that my guides told me that they switch rooms every term or something, do all of the colleges follow this policy or is it Trevs specific?

I did edit it when I noticed. I do feel a bit of a fool.

It depends upon the college. Mary's you change each term, Aidan's and VM you keep the same room all year. Not sure about the others though.

Sorry I missed your post Itchy. Upon properly searching it appears both Grey and Mildert have there own snooker table available for college students.

That narrows down my options, then :wink:

Mildert is literally opposite Aidans, so you could come here, have good food, then nip off over the road to play snooker :smile:

Lol, like you could not sneak in. Quite a fair few people who are not supposed to be there sneak into Bailey bars, and they have bouncers and the like.

Shared rooms are not neccesarily a bad thing, 99% of those who have had them here have got on with their roommate, and those that haven't went into singles.

It would take a couple of quick lies to get around that one, you dont even have to let them know until you move out. If people are choosing to be fools then thats up to them. I am curious as to who you are refering to here...? (lob it in a PM if you prefer)

Aidans very likely, just ask. There are not enough people coming back to college as it is next year.

Its not so much how bad the food is in other colleges, but how amazing it is at Aidans :smile:

Grey food is reputedly just as bad I do believe.
I'm sure the food is perfectly edible. And you don't need to worry about that fact that it's called the comp on the swamp... :p:

there are less likely to be places at grey since if I remember correctly they have a higher app :tongue:

laces ratio (purely because they are closest to the science site :rolleyes:

) but there is only one way to find out for sure, ask them!

the food at mildert is passable, sometimes it is really good and other times it is dreadful. There are certain things that I always avoid (what my friends call the Oscar Wilde chicken among a few others) but on the whole its not too bad. In any case when it is its a brilliant excuse for a takeaway :biggrin:

Haha, well I have to say Itchy, you've pretty much got me convinced. I want to do a bit of research into Grey first but i'm pretty sure I'll ask to be moved to Milderts.
