I wonder if any current physics students would be able to describe to me what the course is like at durham in terms of teaching, choice of modules, facilities etc.

Food sounds fine! Scorey score. I'm embarrassingly picky, but pork and cake and eggs...tis good :biggrin:



Actually the cake is the one thing I wouldn't touch :p: Too much cream and just didn't look nice :biggrin:

But there was plenty of other things :smile:

Yeah Justin Craig. I had skipped more or less a whole term and needed to catch up and they actually did a really good job teaching me literally everything over 2 days!

And no HMK I did not see Aula (I don't think so anyway!), but I will take your word for it that she is really really really strange :p: :biggrin:

And even if you are kevster or not, here's the post from the LNAT thread in the Law forum, with the people who have been accepted by LNAT universities. Their score is next to their nick.

Just got my offer from Durham- over the moon! But didn't get into Hatfield, got put into Collingwood instead.. Does anyone know if this is a good thing? Bad? I know nothing about Collingwood, just that it's on the hill which I didn't want.. :s-smilie:

Congrats! I've heard lots of good things from Collingwood, although I dont know too much about it. A few of my friends who applied wanted to go to Collingwood to, so it sounds quite popular.

Why HMK? He's a physicist...

You will find that people here have scores between 18 and 30, but as well as that, they'll have damn good all round applications.
Got an offer for Combined Honours in Social sciences.

**** the GCSE rule I only got 5 A's and 3B's , so yeah!!

Nah, I do maths mainly, as a Nat Sci...
Lost all my faith in the durham admissions process after a few of mate were rejected with incredible CVs and grades to match...all boils down to the fact that they aren't english. Smeh...Ireland has better universities
