Does playing video games help get over a someone?

Would you say gaming helps to get over a breakup and to get over someone and keep them off your mind?

I'm struggling to get over a girl, I have a PS4,

I don't think gaming helps because you'll forget about the breakup while playing but as soon as you finish it'll be in your mind again.

I recommend you go out and socialise with your friends and you'll definitely meet someone who's for you 😊
Yes it definatelly helps. you forget everything before you sat in front of the console/PC. and you will not remember it after if you dont want to. Just dont focus on the thing you dont want to remember.
