What grades were you expecting?

I needed to get ABB and I was thinking I would get ACC

My plan of action:

go to york to study maths, then do a masters in mathematical ecology

Overall thoughts:

Slightly manically euphoric as I missed my offer but York still let me in.

What were your results?
A - Maths (AS)
B - Biology (AS)
B - General studies (AS)
E - Chemistry (AS)
(Also taking ICT but i don't get a result until the end of the two years).

What grades were you expecting?
Maths: A.
Biology: Was expecting an A. It seems that i messed up one module. I will try to retake it and study extra hard so next years results bring it up to an A grade.
General studies: I felt papers two and three were badly written and that i had messed them up. I didn't do too badly i guess. It's stupid that I can get a B for 15mins every other week after normal lessons. I don't really care too much about this one though. I was expecting a C-E.
Chemistry: Wasn't expecting anything good. I am dropping it.

I have just finished AS so university does not yet apply.

My plan of action:
Drop chemistry and start further maths AS+A2. I intend to do 9 modules of maths next year. I will also try to retake one module of biology to go for an A overall.

Overall thoughts:
Happy, except for the B in biology. I was pleased by my maths result as i actually failed the maths module i took in January (before i started working at it). I don't think i really worked as i am capable in this year or my GCSE year and intend to work harder next year. The sight of above people getting AAA depresses me a little as i feel i am also capable of that but didn't work hard enough. Hopefully i can bump up the biology and do well in further maths next year.
